Under 5: Read the short summary below.
Did you know that you can show kindness in many ways? Speaking nicely to someone, sharing a favorite toy, or letting someone go ahead of you are just a few of the ways you can be kind. God also wants you to be compassionate. That means when you see someone is hurting, you try to help them. Sometimes helping can be as simple as giving that person a hug.

God wants us to do good things for others. He also wants us to be nice to everyone, not just our friends. If you meet someone new, God wants you to be kind to that person. Being kind means introducing yourself and asking him or her to play with you. Or sharing your toys or your favorite ball with that person. Who knows, you might just make a new friend!
